The Enjoy the Water Movement is simple.  We identify a specific need for access to clean water and assess the costs associated with the best solution.  We raise the necessary funds.  We complete the project. One at a time.

By purchasing River Ocean products, you’re joining the Enjoy the Water Movement.  We are committed to donating 5% of every sale to our current project.  Every penny contributed to the Enjoy the Water Movement will be applied directly to providing clean water.  We will update you on the progress and impact of each project along the way.

The Pemba Project

Total Goal: $3,000

Total Raised to Date: $1,759 (58.6%)

Located off the coast of Tanzania, the island of Pemba is surrounded by water but with limited access to clean drinking water.  Funds will be used to establish a well in an area where women have to travel six hours round trip and cross a channel every day in order to provide their families with clean water.  The well will be operated by a hand-pump and local laborers will be employed and paid fair wages in the construction process.
